So I worked up some new business cards
I went to Card Observer for inspiration. I’m doing an event that I designed the logo & flyer for and they asked if I wanted to pass out any business cards. I thought to myself, I don’t have any, why don’t I? I’ve been doing freelance here & there, but I get my clients from recommendations from other people most of the time (which is pretty sweet). I’ve never had to pass out cards for anything, so I never thought of it. Now that I’m doing more flyers for events, which I love doing, I should take over the market in the area I’m doing flyers in, why not? So I made business cards.
The front matches my website, which I can say is simple, but it is a bit drab of catching people’s eye if they were just laying around on a table somewhere, which is the purpose of these cards.
So on the back, I decided to put some of my bright, fun designs and print glossy to make it pop. It shows a quick glance of my portfolio and I think someone might at lease pick them up to look closer (hopefully). I wouldn’t normally do this, but for this purpose I thought it was necessary.
