Hippopost has launched a new facebook app that will let you send free postcards anywhere in US & Canada, using the photos stored in your facebook album. I wonder if there is a limit..hmm.
I tested it out a bit and it seems really easy to use.
It’s really easy to pick and choose your photos
But it did not like my address..
I live in an apartment and for some reason google maps & yahoo don’t like my zip code and always give me another one. I did try both zip codes, but Hippopost still didn’t like my address, maybe yours will work? It’s a cool idea anyhow
Hippopost pays for the cards (and the postage) by including an ad at the bottom of each card. After generating a card, users are presented with a short list of ads and asked to select the one that will appeal most to the card’s recipients. This helps make the advertising more targeted and should allow Hippopost to charge more from their advertisers
