Daily Monster


I was thumbing through an old Communication Arts illustration Annual from 2007 and came across some storyboards for an animation of someone drawing these awesome monsters. Stefan G. Bucher is the illustrator, this is his descriptions via C.A.:

“I filmed myself drawing 100 monsters in 100 days. Every night I’d post the results on my blog as a 60-second timelapse clip. Ten days into the project I began animating the creatures and visitors starting posting brillant stories for each new beast. The project continues today with Open Source Monsters (drawings submitted by the monster community), with The World’s Tallest Monster and The Weekly Monster. A book of Daily Monster drawings is on the way for Spring 2008.”
